Chris is a singer / songwriter and guitarist from Scotland. His songs have a folk-rock, storytelling vibe and his thoughtful lyrics deal with themes of love, loss, regret and growing older.
He started playing guitar at the age of 15 when his Mum accidentally came across a guitar teacher in the classifieds while she was looking for someone to mend the drive.
His influences are wide and include folk, jazz, punk, progressive rock, country and electronica. If pushed, he would name The Velvet Underground as his favourite band.
He lives in Edinburgh with his family and a big, silly cat. With the exception of the cat, they are a great source of inspiration and encouragement for his music.
